In early 2007 the dTechs Meter Suite
successfully completed the Proof of Concept stage

2008 Proof of System Test
In May of
2008 – dTechs deployed 9 meters, monitoring 927
residences in its Proof of System Test. The full
Meter Suite with GSM wireless communication located 4
marijuana grow-ops. More than $750,000.00 worth of
potent marijuana plants and approximately 70 pounds of
packaged marijuana were discovered in Chestermere, Alberta homes. The test was in collaboration
with the local utility, the RCMP, and the Calgary Police
Service.
